Food answers only: Where are you from?
This week’s icebreaker comes from a popular Twitter trend, and as Picasso said: “good artists borrow, great artists steal.”
So I’m stealing this great question to demonstrate a few ways you can mix up the format of an icebreaker to turn it into an engaging game. Here are three ideas:
Have people give their food answer and then ask everyone else to guess where they’re from.
Run the icebreaker as a matching game: collect answers before hand and have people match the food to the location.
Have each person draw the food and then let the team guess the food and location, Pictionary style. (Bonus points if you do this one and please send photos).
Of course, this works a classic icebreaker. But why not get a little creative and mix things up — it keeps meetings interesting and participants on their toes for an added burst of energy.
Any way you try it, have fun, learn something new, and get inspired to try new foods.
Happy icebreaking until next week!
